1. Do I have to Measure? |
You don’t have to know anything about the process. We digitally measure the rooms and/or work from existing builder’s construction plans, produce the draft plans (emailed for your review and comments) and then produce finalized YourPlans.
2. How long does it take to get the drawings after you measure a house? |
Typical turnaround time is 3 days, but shorter time frames can be accommodated.
3. What do I get for my Print Brochures? |
YourPlans are produced for print and email as universally readable Adobe PDF digital files. These are compatible with all Windows and Macintosh computers.
4. How do the plans get on the MLS and the Web? |
YourPlans are produced for the Multiple Listing Service and your personal websites as specially compressed, IDX-compliant, digital image files. Once you approve the draft drawings, YourPlans can be uploaded to the MLS and be available for viewing within hours. I take care of everything, you don't have to do anything. The web-friendly files can also be emailed to your website host for inclusion in your websites.
5. Can you put my logo on the plans? |
Yes, but ... YourPlans for Print will definitely be customized with your company logo and contact information. However, YourPlans for the Web are IDX-complaint (the MLS requires it), and thus can’t include your information, price, or any broker information.
6. Can I get them on CD? |
Absolutely. YourPlans can be emailed (typical print file size is under 900k and most mail servers will accept them), mailed to you on CD or accessed from our FTP site.
7. Is there something extra I can do to ensure that my listings reach more buyers? |
Add useful information - not just more clutter to sort through.
8. Can you tell me the living area of a house? |
From time to time, YourPlans Website/Drawings will provide users, agents or owners with a "finished area", as calculated by our computer drafting program with dimensions from inside walls to inside walls. For these purposes, "finished area" is defined as spaces with finished walls & ceiling (such as paint or wallpaper) and floor covering (such as carpet, vinyl, ceramic or wood). We make no representation that "finished area" equals "living area". Users, agents or owners who use the provided approximate measured dimensions or provided "finished area" to claim "living area" are in violation ofour Terms and Conditions, and are solely responsible for any claims they make.
9. How accurate are your plans? |
All information on the Website/Drawings is provided to Users on an "as is", "as available", and "believed accurate" basis without warranty of any kind either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or availability.
